The following statement is issued by the Vice-Chancellor of AVƽ̨, Professor Sir Hilary Beckles announcing the establishment of the Five Islands Campus of AVƽ̨ in Antigua and Barbuda.

I am honoured to report that the Chancellor, Mr. Robert Bermudez, and the Council of AVƽ̨ (The UWI) have formally approved the establishment of a campus of AVƽ̨ in Antigua and Barbuda, within the wider context of the country’s membership of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS).
